Mexican Mutant - Mutated Since 1998!

The Biography & Resume of Louie Sanchez III (the Mexican Mutant)

I got my first piercings at 17, starting with my tongue, labret, and stretching my ears. Three years later I began my apprenticeship to become a piercer and started getting pierced on a regular basis. That same year I also started getting tattooed. In 2001, after I completed my apprenticeship and began piercing full time, I decided that I wanted a modification that was more extreme. I knew I was going to dedicate my life to the industry and wanted something different, not the same stuff that everyone else had. Later that year I saw an article in an old PFIQ magazine that was about Steve Haworth and his 3D implants. There was a picture of The Enigma, with his 5th generation horns, and from that second I knew that I wanted subdermal horns. I got in contact with Steve and he did my horns that year.

Within days I got fired from the shop I had been piercing at - solely for getting my horns done. I then had to make a job change and went into working retail. The company didn’t mind my modifications so I kept getting more. From 2001 to 2003 I had gone two more generations on my horns, a CBR implant put into my right hand (by Steve Haworth) and also got my labrets scalpeled (by John Duratne), tongue split (by Ralph Cook), beads implanted in both forearms (by Emilio Gonzalez), another CBR in my left hand (by Emilio Gonzalez), and of course more piercings and tattoos. The company began to lower its tolerance for modification, and I was fired once again because of them.

Today I have the "World's Largest Implanted Horns" and a variety of other modifications. I work for Kaos Software (producing silicone eyelets) and Infested Meat Market (producing custom steel body jewelry). When I am not working I spend time with my family and working on my career in entertainment. I want people to see that I am just a regular person, and hopefully the more that modified people get their faces out in the public eye then more of the "normal"-looking people will be less close minded about us. If it wasn't for that article in PFIQ I wouldn’t be the person I am today, and maybe someday I will have that positive effect on someone else.
